The real-life "WOW" ladies often emulated the tough yet sexy Rosie style with the hair twists, victory roll and bandana. While the look is fantactic, the retro style isn't always an every-day look. This style is an updated/modern hip version of the iconic Rosie The Riveter hairstyle. What Does the Classic Rosie Style Look Like? The style itself is quite simple as most of the hair was covered by a bandana. The bangs were done up in a curl (often resembling a victory roll) and the bandana was tied upside down starting at the base of the neck and wrapping around to tie at the top of the head. The updated style is a little bit sexier and playful, most of the hair is not covered, but the upside down bandana and mock front curl are still evident in the hairstyle.
